Introduction to Order Cancelling

WebCollect supports cancelling an order at two points in it’s life cycle, before payment has been received and after payment is received.

At the moment, WebCollect has no cancellation policy implemented and so there is no way to distinguish between cancelling a booking and cancelling an order. They assume that cancelling an order will always involve a refund to the purchaser.

Danger

The only time we cancel a paid order is if are really refunding the member, e.g. they have a credit and aren’t likely to walk again in the foreseeable future.

Caution

This section only deals with cancelling unpaid orders. Follow with care and if in doubt leave the booking as an unpaid credit.
